Restoration Week 2020 - a journey into "Made in Italy Restoration"

In this particular year, Assorestauro, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, wanted to experiment a new way to promote the Made in Italy Restoration in digital.

The Restoration Week, held from 20 to 25 September 2020, was the first virtual edition of a journey followed by the whole world in streaming.

The event saw the choral participation of local administrations, ministries, experts and international guests, with the common goal of promoting and relaunching Italian architectural and artistic restoration.

A journey to explore different themes and discover locations that are symbols of history and restoration in Central Italy, starting from Rome, Amatrice, L’Aquila and Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Restoration Week 2020 in numbers:

300 daily virtual visitors of which

• 150 Experts invited by the network of Italian Trade Agency offices

• 24 connected countries Albania Argentina, Armenia, Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, Guatemala, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Syria, Sudan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.

• 150 Onlookers in the sector connected to follow online visits (70% Italian users)

30 hours of technical content and interviews

4 thematic round tables attended by 40 Italian companies and about 100 foreign experts interested in creating new partnerships and projects
