Organized by the Rolls of Architects of Ferrara and the Foundation of the Architects of Ferrara, in collaboration with Assorestauro, the seminar is aimed at offering a chance for discussion the workshop is meant to offer a chance to exchange views over the issue of the structural improvement of listed historic buildings, as well as to understand what are the possible approaches in case of conflict between the need to solve a structural problem and to preserve artistic and cultural characteristics. The meeting will also help learn more about the authorities in charge of evaluating projects and the available and most commonly used tools, with the aim of taking mid-term stock of the work progress after the seismic events occurred in Emilia Romagna in 2012, as well as of offering an insight into the current discussion about the reconstruction of Central Italy.
