Il Gruppo El.En., fondato nel 1981, è stato il primo in Italia ad aver sviluppato, nella prima metà degli anni ’90, sistemi laser dedicati alle applicazioni nella conservazione dei Beni Culturali.
Dal 2005 l’attività di El.En. si è integrata con l’esperienza maturata da Quanta System S.p.A., azienda del gruppo tra le prime e più importanti nella realizzazione di sistemi laser scientifici. In questo modo il Gruppo fornisce attualmente la più ampia gamma disponibile di sistemi laser per i Beni Culturali, tecnologicamente d’avanguardia e costantemente validati dal mondo della conservazione.
I campi di applicazione della strumentazione laser sono la pulitura di manufatti artistici, monumenti e edifici storici, potendo operare su supporti lapidei, stucchi, superfici affrescate, metalli di cui in particolare bronzo e bronzo dorato, argenti e oreficerie, manufatti in legno anche dipinto.
I sistemi laser del Gruppo El.En. sono presenti in numerosi laboratori europei e nel mondo e sono stati utilizzati o vengono adesso impiegati nei più importanti cantieri di restauro.
The El.En. Group, founded in 1981, was the first one in Italy to have developed in the first half of the 90s, laser systems specifically dedicated to applications in Cultural Heritage conservation.
Since 2005 El.En.’s activities are integrated with the experience gained by Quanta System S.p.A., a company of the group among the first and most important in the realization of scientific laser systems. In this way, the Group currently provides the broadest available range of laser systems for Cultural Heritage, technologically advanced machines constantly validated by the world of conservation.
The application fields of laser instrumentation are the cleaning of artifacts, monuments and historic buildings.
The laser can in fact operate on stone supports, stucco, painted surfaces, metals, in particular bronze and gilt bronze, silver and gold and painted wood artifacts. El. En.’s laser systems are present in several laboratories in Europe and in the world and have been used, or are now used, in the most important restoration sites.
