Nardini Editore is a trademark of Nardini Press srl, a company that also owns the Nardini Bookstore and Iena Reader brands. Nardini Editore was born in 1970 in Florence by Bruno Nardini, director of Mondadori. In about 50 years of life he has mainly published books and magazines dedicated to cultural heritage, their conservation and restoration. Large series on the main Italian libraries and on the State Archives have been at the center of the first years of work. After the publication of the first books on restoration, in 1978, the publishing activity expanded continuously to include numerous theoretical and practical collections dedicated to restoration. Other themes developed in recent decades are the art and tourism of cultural heritage, architecture and design, the environment, travel, history, literature, food culture, twentieth century music. More recent is the interest in fiction (with the Iena Reader brand) and various non-fiction related to the more technical themes of the catalog. Nardini Editore collaborates with the main Italian and international institutions dedicated to safeguarding cultural heritage. The Nardini Bookstore has been active in Florence for 10 years, a bookshop specializing in cultural heritage issues
